BPSU
Drug Testing at World Championships

To all competitors

Drug testing in South Africa is undertaken in terms of the South African Institute for Drug Free Sport Act 1997 (Act No 14 of 1997).
Random drug testing might be undertaken during the 2007 MLAIC World Long Range Muzzle Loading Championships.  In light of this, all competitors, international and local who have no alternative to the (prescribed) use of banned substances because of chronic medical conditions, are reminded of the provisions of the SABU Rules, Appendix D.
A copy of the relevant form must be completed by both the competitor and the competitor's medical practitioner prior to the commencement of the 2007 MLAIC World Long Range Muzzle Loading Championships.  The completed form must be submitted to the organisers at registration.
Thank you for your co-operation.
